The Quicksilver was a car produced by Zimmer between 1984 and 1988.
The car's retro styling takes its inspiration from glitzy Lincoln and Cadillac models of the 1970s.
The Quicksilver is based on the mid-engined Pontiac Fiero. The Quicksilver looked as though it could have housed a V8 under its long nose but instead had the Fiero's 2843cc V6 fitted just ahead of the rear wheels. The engine could produce 140bhp and the Quicksilver had a top speed of 121mph. The car was fitted with a three-speed automatic gearbox and power was delivered to the rear wheels.
As the Quicksilver was based on the Fiero, the car was cheap to run and handling was relatively good.
Only around 170 Quicksilvers were made during the four year long production run.
